The Mont Gele is a chalet-style hotel is in an enviable location only metres from the piste, creating one of Verbier's only genuine ski in/ski out properties. Guests could not ask for more convenience; skiing enthusiasts can leave breakfast and walk through the boot room directly on to the slopes each morning. It is also within easy walking distance of the town centre, bars, restaurants and local amenities. There is a wonderful warm, informal and extremely friendly atmosphere at the chalet-style Hotel Mont Gelé. There is a team of four Ski Verbier staff with an intimate knowledge of the hotel and resort, who quickly get to know all of the guests. They are on hand to help with any queries and to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. With only 15 bedrooms, the hotel can sleep up to a maximum of 30 guests at any time. The layout of the hotel is split over four floors with three different room configurations; some have an en suite shower room but no balcony, some have a private shower room (exclusive to the room and directly opposite) and balcony, then others have an en suite shower room and balcony (a supplement applies for these latter rooms). All of the rooms can be made up as twin or double beds, please request your preference at time of booking. Breakfast is served on the ground floor where sunlight floods through the windows into a bright and welcoming room. After a hard day skiing guests can indulge in freshly baked afternoon tea followed by a massage in their room or use the hotel's sauna.Before sampling one of Verbier's excellent restaurants, guests are invited to have a drink in the cosy bar and enjoy the sumptuous canapés freshly prepared by our chef each evening. There is a TV room next door with plasma screen, Sky and DVD library, where children can happily entertain themselves. |
